Training Update…
Training has now increased to 3 x 3 mile runs per week with a longer run at weekends (1 x 5 mile).
My progress is being hampered by the walk/run technique and I need to concentrate on completing 3.2 miles without stopping in order to be in with a good time for my first 5k run in August.
Did a 4 mile run yesterday in 50 mins (12.5 min/miles) so neeed to increase pace. I think a bit of speedwork/interval training is required in order to boost stamina and endurance.
I am slowly becoming unconvinced by my Nike+ kit and feel that it may not be that accurate ! Roll on Christmas, when Santa should be delivering me a Garmin 405 GPS Watch
